Meet Our Team
Just like the coliseum in Rome wasn't built in a day, neither has our team. While many of us have been together as friends and confidants for decades now, we have spent decades pursuing excellence in all our professional endeavors while also raising families and maintaining healthy marriages. And we are excited that some of our team members are just joining us and in a short time have been a very critical part of our success. In our effort to make things better for our youth, we are encouraging others to join our efforts by both working directly with us, as well in a collaborative fashion through other organizations they are already a part of -- as we are stronger in numbers and when supportive of each other's missions. We continue to be both humbled and honored as we slowly spread our mission premise to others in an effort to find solid, experienced, and devoted followers that are that are working in similar missions to support youth.

Sister Bernadette Mota
Sister Bernadette was born and raised in Long Beach, California and is one of six siblings. As an elementary, high school and collegiate athlete, her passion was playing, watching, and coaching sports. Participation in sports helped her stay on the right track, understand the value of team, learn self-disciplined and earn scholarships towards her education. While attending college she competed for two years on the cross country and track teams, was an active participant in campus and diocesan young adult ministry, and worked several jobs. She has held positions in municipal parks and recreation, coaching high school basketball and cross country, youth sports programs, adaptive physical education, and international students’ activities. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation from California State University, Long Beach, she decided to “give back” to the good Lord who provided her with so much. This lead her to volunteer with the Salesian Lay Missioners in Tampa Bay, Florida for one year. This experience of prayer, community, and mission changed her life radically and helped her to respond to God’s call to enter religious life with the Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco. Over the past ten years, she has been with the Salesian Sisters in California, Italy, Illinois, Texas, and is presently serving in Colorado Springs. Her areas of ministry experience include young adult ministry; college campus ministry; social justice; parish outreach; interfaith collaboration; athletics and physical education; and elementary, junior high, and high school faith formation. Sr. Bernadette’s passion is expressed in a conscious option for education as the way to Gospel citizenship. She thoroughly enjoys being present to, and in solidarity with the young and those most in need. As a Salesian Sister, she joyfully serves the cause of justice and peace to bring about a more humane society that respects the dignity of each person. She loves belonging to an international religious order which responds to the challenges that confront the world of youth today.
Sister serves as a consultant for the team, specializing in School Climate, Youth Sports, and Church Leadership & Ministry Efforts
